A fatal road accident occurred near the Chinar Park signal in Baguiati when a bus collided with a motorbike, resulting in the biker’s death. The incident took place on route 211, with the bus traveling from Baguiati towards Chinar Park. According to police, the collision happened near Loknath Temple, where the bus allegedly veered into the path of the motorbike. The biker lost control, fell to the ground, and was run over by the bus.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and immediately transported the victim to a nearby private hospital. Despite efforts by medical staff, the biker was declared dead upon arrival. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending family notification. The bus driver has been taken into custody by Baguiati police for further questioning. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident. Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted as the police conducted their investigation and cleared the scene.
